Alan Codi
first started as a
Realtor leasing and maintaining apartments while studying accounting
and performing arts at American University in
Washington D.C. Weekends
were spent bartending and cooking in various Washington area
restaurants and hotels.
1978-1982

Qualified for a Broker's license
and formed Codi Realty, managing apartment buildings in the
Glover Park neighborhood of Washington D.C. During that time
he
was also involved in the sale and renovation efforts of the hundreds of
historic brownstone townhouse shells in the Northeast area of Capitol
Hill
that were torched during the 1968 Martin Luther King assassination
riots.
1982 -1989

Moved
to Lewes Delaware, a historic
seaside town founded in 1631 by Dutch Settlers (aka as "the First Town in The First State) located North of
Ocean City
Maryland .
There he managed and sold investment homes and condos while
participating in varied renovation and development projects. He was the
manager of the Lewes Beach Office of Anderson-Stokes,
the
largest realty company on the Eastern Seaboard
1989 -1993

Thomas
USVI.
Following the investment real estate market crash of 1987,
Dick and Joyce Doumeng hired
Alan and his new bride Valerie
to work in resort management on the Island
of St. Thomas U.S.V.I.
The Doumengs owned and operated the Bolongo Bay Beach and Tennis
Club,
The Limetree Resort and the Elysian Luxury Resort,
all on St. Thomas.
Alan was resident manager and Valerie was food & beverage manager.
They lasted 3 seasons of hurricanes (and good fun).
Our favorite Island
hang-outs were Orient Bay on the French Side of St. Martin, and the
beach at the beautiful little village of St. Anne on the French
Island of Guadeloupe.
1993 -2000
Realtor/Agent, Coldwell-Banker Commercial. Naples Fl.
Ready to return to reality
and leave the annual hurricanes strikes behind, Valerie and Alan
Settled in Naples Florida. For six years Alan worked with
Mike Carr Sr. in
the commercial division of Coldwell-Banker,
specializing in the sale of
businesses. Valerie consults and establishes new restaurants for
clients.
Divorced, they share the raising of their 15 -year-old son Michael.
Valerie has remarried to Robert Rice and was in Chicago opening the new
Roy's Restaurant.
Alan was a two-term affordable
housing
commissioner for Collier County, a two-term Diplomat
for the Naples
Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Legal Affairs Committee of the
Naples Area Board of Realtors.
2000-2003.

After 6 years at Coldwell-Banker,
Alan
joined Naples Realty Services Inc. an
association of 200
independent Realtors in SW Florida. During that time Alan assembled the
properties
for Kenney Schryvers' new Bonita Village
project. Alan deals in businesses,
land development and commercial buildings. Consistently a top producer,
he understands Buyers and Sellers and has earned his reputation for
discretion and fair-dealing.

Moved to the Cartwright
Court House in Bonita Springs from Naples. In December of 2004,
Alan married Diana
Macia of Medellin Colombia. Their son Alex
Pablo was born in
November
2005, followed by the
birth of their daughterJuliana Paloma
in
June of 2008 .

With his family
in the U.S.
Diplomatic Corp, Alan grew up in the Lebanon,
Turkey
